FAQ: Oxford Masterclass

This article includes the questions asked by Bp Premier users during recordings of the Bp Premier Oxford Masterclasses presented by Best Practice Software from 01 – 17 June 2026.

NOTE  For Frequently Asked Questions related to Assignment of Benefit, see Assignment of Benefit Changes FAQ.

Is Bp Premier Oxford the new release version after Bp Premier Spectra?

Yes, Bp Premier Oxford is the next release after Bp Premier Spectra SP1 Revision 3.

I don’t use Bp Comms, do I still need to register for a Sender ID?

Best Practice Software strongly recommend that practices ensure they use a Sender ID registered with the AMCA Sender ID Registry.

If the practice does not have a Sender ID, messages will appear as "unverified" and will be grouped together in a single message thread on recipients' phones.

This signals to recipients that the message might be a scam, which could significantly reduce the effectiveness of your patient communications and increase the risk of Assignment of Benefit request links being missed by patients.

If you do not use Bp Comms, contact your third-party messaging provider for more information about their processes.

See the Knowledge Base article Bp Comms Alpha Tag Changes 1 July 2026 for more information.

How long until the Bp Premier Oxford release is available?

Best Practice Software plans to release Oxford in early to mid June 2026.

Prevenar 20 – do I just need Oxford for this to be updated or also the July DU?

You do not need the July data update for this vaccine to be added to Bp Premier, it is included in Bp Premier Oxford.

Do I need to set up an ACMA Assist account before filling out the Bp Software Sender ID Registration form?

An ACMA Assist account will be required to register a Sender ID. The authorised business representative on your ABN can set up this account and delegate approval in preparation. Setting up an ACMA assist account before you have received communications from Best Practice will speed up the process and decrease wait times, but it is not mandatory.
