When using the Care Plan tool in the patient record, is there a setting to disable or not make available the preload data from previous plan check box?

At this time, there is no way to disable this feature.

Can I perform another Health Assessment such as those for patients aged 40-49 who are at high risk of diabetes, who are residents of RACFs, or who have intellectual disabilities using the inbuilt Health Assessment Tool?

Currently, the inbuilt Health Assessments that can be performed are Age Related Health Assessments. Any other Health Assessments can be performed using a template in the Word Processor.

If a patient is eligible for both a over 75 Health Assessment, and a Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples Health Assessment, how can you differentiate between the two?

There is no way to toggle between both of these Health Assessments, but you will be able to see which one is being completed by observing the top-left corner of the Health Assessment window. You may choose to complete the Health Assessment of choice using the Word Processor and a Template instead.

How do I perform a Care Plan Review?

Care Plan Reviews can be performed by creating a new Care Plan and importing the data from the previous entry, and adding additional notes to specify that it is a review that is being performed. You may also choose to use a template in the word processor the complete your review, and then move the document from Correspondence Out into the Care Plan tab.

Is there another way to get to the Diabetes Foot Check other than through the Diabetes Cycle of Care tool?

At this time, no there is not. You may consider setting up an Autofill to assist in efficiently capturing this information as part of Today’s Notes, however.

When adding Investigation results in a Diabetes Cycle of Care, does the section pre-populate with the most recent investigation results regardless of date received?

Yes, this will pre-populate the most recent values if your practice receives HL7 format Pathology requests, and you have asked your lab to send atomised values.

Can I perform a Health Assessment using a template in the Word Processor rather than using the Health Assessment tool in the patient record?

Best Practice supplies templates that can be used in the word processor for performing several Health Assessments, and other templates can be imported for use.

Can you convert a .RTF template into a tick box template?

You can customise a template further after it has been imported. If you are wanting to add an additional pop-up window to record information with tick-boxes, calendar date-pickers, or drop-down lists for information, you can review the steps to create Custom Fields for a template here.

When printing documents, is it possible to print to a PDF rather than to a physical printer?

You can edit your printer settings to allow the option of printing to PDF using the instructions here.
